Squid brand is a Thai brand best known for its fish sauces. This is a school design project where we were tasked with choosing a product from the supermarket for redesign. I chose this packaging primarily due to the font layout. The text is overlaid on top of images, and the addition of a squid on the bottle didn't effectively convey the main message of fish sauces to customers.

One of the key design changes involved the logo. Instead of the main squid illustration which is a little complex as a logo. The logo was redesigned as a typeface logo, which added a sense of flow to it. The logo retains a similar royal blue colour palette.

In addition to the logo changes, illustrations of the main ingredients were incorporated into the bottle packaging to help customers quickly understand the product. Three different versions were created: classic, low sodium, and premium, each featuring slightly different illustrations and colours. The bottom colour blocks were retained to maintain some continuity with the original design.
